In 2041, the fate of Antarctica will be decided. It marks the end of a 50-year treaty keeping Antarctica, the Earth’s last pristine continent, free of exploitation. It is our mission to keep it as is: The last wilderness on earth.
This is a purposeful 12-day educational journey by ship led by polar explorer and sustainability champion Robert Swan O.B.E. – the first person in history to trek to both of Earth’s poles. The ‘carbon-negative’ expedition aims to inspire, develop, and train the next generation of leaders to create a more sustainable future.
The current pandemic has challenged us on several subjects including tourism. We are all aware of the ecological impacts of human activities. But how can we inspire a change in our daily choices and bring long-term solutions?
In this short film, we are going to show a more conscious way of traveling.
Our mission is to show that climate change is a global issue and small action as a collective can make a difference.
Through hiking and photography, Bea seeks adventure and authentic encounters. In 2020, she was selected to be part of the 2041 ClimateForce team in Antarctica to document the impacts of climate change and interview leaders in the industry such as Robert Swan OBE and Jeff Bonaldi. Following this expedition, we will continue with the exploration of the mountains in Patagonia to make the link between the melting
ice in Antarctica and the impact of climate change in Patagonia and the rest of the planet.
